What you need to know about our programs...
DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM?
No! We are an open community, and everyone is welcome. We do not require registration, membership fees, or any formal commitment from your part. If you are interested in joining our mentorship program either as a mentor or as a mentee, just fill out the form on the mentorship page. You are free to provide only the information you feel comfortable with. We will use that information only to match you with a group or individual mentoring partner, and we will not share any information with any thing parties.
WILL MY GROUP OR MENTORING PARTNER RECEIVE THE INFORMATION I PROVIDE IN THE FORM?
No. We only use the information you provide to connect you to someone with experiences or interests similar to your own, so your mentorship experience will be personal. We do not provide that information to your mentoring parter(s). It is up to you to shape that relationship at your own pace and share your story if and when you are comfortable and it feels organic. We really want your mentoring meetings to be a safe space where you can open up and get input, and don't feel compelled to overshare in any way.
WILL I ALSO BE ABLE TO INTERACT DIRECTLY WITH HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS THROUGH YOUR PLATFORM?
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have a program that allows our users to interact directly with healthcare providers. However, we are trying to make your access to information as direct, relevant and personal as possible. To that end, we are meeting with healthcare providers to discuss recent issues in women's health, and update our information as thoroughly and frequently as possible. We also try to add answers to questions that our users have requested on a regular basis. To give you an impression of the providers we are collaborating and working with, we will also upload short videos and interviews where doctors explain their field of expertise and answer your questions.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO MEET MY MENTORING PARTNER(S) AND OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN PERSON?
Yes! We are actually working on that and planning to organize an event where you can meet each other, connect, and also meet some of our collaborating providers for discussions.
